1:1 Coaching
The Lucrum House one-to-one coaching programme was designed to focus on the needs of managers, directors and senior executives.
The role of an executive coach is to act as a sounding board; challenge thinking; stimulate creativity; provide tools and techniques for dealing with situations; give encouragement; and build the individual’s confidence.
All consultations and bespoke coaching sessions are organised, designed and delivered by Chris Murray.
Chris is founder and Managing Director of the Lucrum House Group and has become prominent as an inspirational speaker, author and business coach.
He was named in the lists for “Top 30 International Sales Experts to Follow in 2020” by both LinkedIn and Thomson Reuters, heralded as the “World’s Number 1 Sales Coach” by The Sales Innovation Expo and his book – “Selling with EASE” – is described by Jeb Blount as “a handbook that will help you close more deals, advance your career, and build your income.”
His other books include – The Extremely Successful Salesman’s Club – an Amazon Number 1 Best Seller, which was given five stars by Jeffrey Gitomer and heralded as the Da Vinci Code for salespeople.
Chris also writes and contributes to articles for a number of institutions, magazines and websites including; the Institute of Sales and Marketing Management, Training Magazine Europe, The Sales Pro, CNBC.com, Entrepreneur, The Huffington Post and USA Today.
Sessions take place either on-line or in person (he always prefers in person where possible).
However – you should know – Chris only works with around 12 people each year on a 1:1 basis, so we maintain a waiting list for people who wish to do so.
Please email Sarah (sarah@lucrumhouse.com) – and she will put you on the notification list.

The Coaching Process
Following a successful initial meeting, clients commit to a programme of around six to twelve months in length – although this can sometimes be shorter when the client has an urgent, focused need.
- We agree the coaching objectives with the client during our initial meeting – if the client’s organisation has contributed a briefing, this is also taken into account and discussed.
- Typically the client’s agenda will include items such as:
- How to meet short term goals and achieve long term aspirations
- How to generate the next strategic opportunity
- How to manage their time better
- How to become more effective in their current role
- How to prepare for their next role
- During the coaching process, we help the client to focus on current and future achievements in a way that builds awareness of strengths, establishes personal responsibility and results in behaviour change that impacts their bottom-line results, together with an improvement of their professional perception, both with internal colleagues and departments, as well as external customers and suppliers.
- Their achievement is reviewed periodically throughout the assignment.

Benefits of 1:1 Coaching
Coaching not only develops potential and dramatically improves performance, it also gives individuals the opportunity to step back and recognise how they can solve problems they previously didn’t even know existed.
This change happens through developing personal leadership skills, setting better goals, reaching those goals faster, making better decisions and improving communications and relationships.
Typically, people can quickly see clear and measurable results that include:
- Enhanced leadership and strategic planning skills
- Better decision-making
- Improved goal setting – and faster achievement of goals
- An ability to inspire and motivate teams and colleagues
- More confident communication
- Improved working relationships
And benefits for their organisation often include:
- Improved management and leadership
- More creativity and ownership
- Greater commitment from those receiving the coaching
- Higher retention of key people who feel valued
Previous clients who benefited from our 1:1 Coaching did so because they;
- Needed to prepare for a role or career change
- Had to manage stress, change, conflict or crisis
- Wanted to enhance their personal impact and performance
- Were required to support others in achieving company goals
- Had been highlighted as individuals with high potential for promotion
- Needed someone to act as an objective and independent sounding board
